Event description

Join Naomi Hyso of the MSU Extension office for Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention-a program to improve health and wellness. Tai Chi is a graceful, low impact form of exercise that can improve balance, strength, mobility, and quality of life. It can also reduce stress, risk of falls, and help manage pain from arthritis. Combine gentle movements to practice weight transference and movement control in this safe and easy to learn program. This program is targeted to help older adults and older adults with disabilities at risk for fall stay active. Modifications will be provided for those who want to attend seated or standing.
