Join MADL and the City of Roosevelt Park at the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Roosevelt Park Linear Trailway and Roosevelt Park StoryTrail. The celebration will mark the completion of a project designed to improve community connectivity, encourage outdoor recreation, and promote literacy for residents and visitors of all ages. Representatives from the local community, regional transportation and planning organizations, and elected officials will join Muskegon Area District Library and City officials to commemorate the opening and celebrate the partnerships that made the project possible.
The Roosevelt Park StoryTrail combines reading and recreation by allowing families to enjoy a children's story while walking the scenic trail. Following brief remarks and the ceremonial ribbon cutting, attendees are encouraged to explore the new pathway, experience the StoryTrail, and celebrate this exciting investment in Roosevelt Park's parks, recreation, and community wellness. The event is free and open to the public, and all residents are encouraged to attend and help celebrate this significant milestone for the City of Roosevelt Park.
