PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Muskegon Area District Library Administration Building, 4845 Airline Road, Unit #5, Muskegon, Michigan, 49444. The District Library Board of the Muskegon Area District Library will hold a public hearing to consider the Library's proposed budget for the period of January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027.
The Board may not adopt its proposed budget until after the public hearing. A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Library Administration Building, 4845 Airline Road, Unit #5, Muskegon, Michigan, 49444. All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing regarding the proposed budget.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be the subject of this hearing.
This notice is given by order of the Muskegon Area District Library Board.
